Photography

I love photography. They say a picture gives a thousand words. And it really does.

My most favorite kind of photography, are the ones I call dramatic. You look at it, and it seems like a whole unwritten story is with in it.
Photography is art, and a form of story telling. Most people just take pictures so they can remember.
"Oh, I remember when we went there. That was fun," Or "Look at her sharing her cookie. She was such a darling baby."
There have been a lot of inventions such as telephones, cars, computers, TVs. My all time favorite invention, though, is definitely the camera.
The first picture taken by Joseph Niepce in 1814 was very different from how pictures look now.
Grainy, and hard to see, it was taken out a window in France.
Now photography is HD, showing the smallest details, and capturing the moments. We are also able to digitally add things to photography. In this picture below it looks as though the child is looking through a leaf. This is actually double exposure, meaning they put two photographs together.
Photography as grown over the years, but has also stayed the same. It is used to tell stories, and remember.
Photography is a really exciting hobby, and you don't know what kind of creations you're going to capture next.

  1. I agree with you, photography is a form of hidden storytelling.
